Notifications are the most critical feature of Tree Terminal, delivering real-time market-moving news directly to your screen. Proper configuration ensures you act quickly and avoid errors during fast-paced trading.
Recommended Settings to Minimize Risk
To reduce the risk of misclicks and streamline your trading workflow, it is recommended to activate the following settings in Settings > Preferences:
Double-Click for Buttons:
Activate the "Require Double Click on All Trading Buttons" option to prevent accidental trades.
Prevent Misclicks:
Enable "Prevent Potential Misclicks on Notification Trade Buttons" to reduce unintended actions.
Show Charts on Hover:
Turn on "Show Charts on Hover in News Feed" for quick visual insights without leaving the feed.
Expand Notification Images:
Enable "Expand Notification Images on Hover" to easily view attached visuals.

Configuring Notifications
Access Notification Settings:
Go to Settings > Notifications.
Here, you can adjust placement, size, and active news sources.
Key Options:
Notification Width: To hide notifications, set this to "0."
Notification Height and Placement: Fine-tune the size and position (e.g., bottom-right) to match your workflow.
Sources: Toggle feeds like Binance, Twitter, or Bloomberg to ensure relevant news is displayed.
Notification display time: Adjust

seconds to be more or less as how you prefer.
Test Notifications:
Use the "Test It!" button to confirm your settings.

Advanced Configuration via "More Settings"
Clicking on the More Settings button in the Notifications menu redirects you to your profile, where you can:
View and manage the Twitter accounts you're following.
Add or remove specific handles to ensure you're tracking the most relevant voices.
Adjust other advanced preferences for a more tailored notification experience.
