Customization Settings

The Customization menu allows you to personalize your Tree Terminal experience, tailoring the interface to suit your preferences. You can modify key visual and functional elements, including fonts, colors, and component spacing.

Highlights

The Highlights feature allows you to assign specific colors to certain keywords, making them stand out in your news feed and notifications.

  • Example: If you set the keyword amazon to be highlighted in orange, any news or notification containing amazon will be clearly marked in that color, ensuring you never miss important mentions.

in this case, every time you get the word 'amazon' on your feed or notifications, it will be clearly highlighted in the colour orange

Keyword Mappings

The Keyword Mappings feature lets you associate specific keywords with corresponding tickers for better organization and tracking.

  • Exact Match Setting:

    • Ensures only exact keyword matches are mapped to a ticker.

    • Example: If you map the keyword hat to $WIF, it will only match hat exactly and not partial matches like"hat" in what.

Do not use exact match unless you are very certain of a mapping

This precision helps maintain accurate mappings and avoids irrelevant associations.
